What are the characteristics of gravure printing for pouch?
1.Wide range
General soft materials can be used as substrates for gravure printing. For example, plastic, paper, aluminum foil, etc., especially for some materials easy to stretch and deform, such as textile materials, have better adaptability, which is incomparable with relief printing and flat printing.
2.High printing quality
Gravure printing uses a large amount of ink. The pictures and texts have a convex feeling, rich levels, clear lines, and high quality. Packaging plastic products are mostly gravure printing.
3.Mass printing
Gravure printing has a long plate making cycle, high efficiency, and high cost. But the printing plate is durable, so it is suitable for mass printing. The larger the batch size is, the higher the efficiency is. For the printing with a smaller batch size, the benefit is lower. Therefore, the gravure method is not suitable for a small batch of trademark printing.
